The new sequel to the 1995 beloved Robin Williams film ‘Jumanji’ will not only be incredibly different from its predecessor but the board game will not even be featured. At one point a few critics were given a sneak preview and described the action-packed comedy a more ‘Breakfast Club’ idea than the eerie mischief directed by Joe Johnston.

Instead, four teens will be transported back to a 1990’s console type game, giving the teens various characters completely different from their own daily lives. However, some of the critics also stated that a tribute to Robin Wiliams is held within the film as well as a few familiar places all of us young adults remember from the original.

The official title is Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle which will be released on December 22, 2017.
